    Dr. Tsagay holds a distinguished academic record with a PhD in Business Administration from the Faculty of Business, Economics and Communications at Naresuan University,Thailand funded by the His Majesty’s Scholarship. His doctoral research focused on Enterprise Risk Management, highlighting his commitment to advancing knowledge in risk analysis and mitigation within business organizations. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned an MBA in Finance from Gedu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Hiram College, Ohio, USA, under the prestigious Royal Government of Bhutan Scholarship.

    Teaching Experience
    Since 2011, he has been a dedicated lecturer at Gedu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan. He specializes in teaching Business Mathematics, Statistics, and Finance, and is also actively involved in delivering research-related modules to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

    Consultancy and International Collaboration
    Beyond his academic responsibilities, Dr. Tsagay has contributed his expertise to several consultancy projects with prominent Bhutanese organizations, including Druk Holding and Investments (DHI), Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited (RICBL), Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan (RMA) and the National Pension and Provident Fund (NPPF). His involvement extends to international initiatives, such as participation in Erasmus+ projects, reflecting his commitment to global academic cooperation and capacity building.

    Research Interests
    Research interests span the following areas:
    1. Enterprise Risk Management and strategic risk assessment in business
    organizations
    2. Financial analytics and quantitative finance
    3. Sustainable development and the application of mathematical and statistical models
    4. Applied business mathematics and statistical methodologies
    5. New and emerging technologies
