Please note, GCBS does not require prior subject knowledge for the programmes you apply to.

2. The GCBS Entrance Test (GET)

The GET will take place online (at designated centres) on 21 April 2025 and will consist of three components:

i. Personal Statement

This is your chance to express why you're motivated to apply to the programme(s) you're interested in. You may submit a personal statement for all three programmes if you wish to apply for more than one, but each statement should be between 200-250 words.

Important: If you do not submit a personal statement for a particular programme, your application for that programme will not be considered.

What GCBS is looking for:

  • Genuine enthusiasm for the programme(s)
  • Your suitability for the programme(s)
  • What makes you a strong candidate for the programme(s)
ii. Personality Trait

We will use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to assess your personality type and match it with your preferred programme category. This will help us better understand your strengths and fit for the programmes.

iii. Aptitude Test

The aptitude test will evaluate your competency in:

  • Language
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Awareness of Global Affairs

For each programme category, candidates with a valid Citizenship ID will be merit-ranked based on a combination of Ability Rating Points and the GET result. The selection will be based on the following weighted criteria:
