Before you apply, you must read the following instructions carefully and agree that you have understood and comply with the conditions of admission. Who should apply for GCBS programmes? Class XII passed students fulfilling the eligibility criteria (refer to the RUB link https://www.rub.edu.bt/index.php/admission-criteria-and-tuition-fee-for-the-academic-year-2024/) Students who have a strong preference, interest, and commitment to complete the 4-year business programmes. When to Apply? Don’t be excited on day one; take your time to decide the programme choice. Apply only after careful study of the programmes and fully convinced about your interest and career prospects (refer to the programme profile). Once you are sure of your eligibility and interest, you may click the “Agree” button and proceed to apply for the Programme Category of your choice using the GCBS Admission Portal https://admission.gcbs.edu.bt/. Be informed that once applied, you will NOT be able to change the programme category. The last date of online registration is on 15 March 2026. What are the CONDITIONS? You can choose ONLY ONE Programme Category: Category A OR Category B. Category A: Bachelor of Accounting or Bachelor of Business Intelligence or Bachelor of Finance and Economics or Bachelor of Banking and Financial Services Who should apply for Category A? Anyone with a genuine passion for functional business areas such as finance and accounting, with good mathematical proficiency and analytical skills and willing to solve complex business problems. Category B: Bachelor of Business Management or Bachelor of Human Capital Management or Bachelor of Marketing (Digital & Communication). Who should apply for Category B? Anyone who may not be very comfortable with mathematics and numerical skills, but is interested in managing business and is good at communication skills. You must select/tick the appropriate Source of Funding option/s: “Government Scholarship” “Self-Financed” If you wish to apply as a Self-Financed student, you must select the “Self-financed” category option in addition to the “Government Scholarship”. If you do not select the “Self-Financed” option, you will NOT be shortlisted for seats available under the Self-Financed programmes. Ensure your details are filled in correctly as per the online admission form. Once you have provided your information, make sure that your phone number stays active during the admission process. The Admission Team of GCBS will not be liable for any incorrect information provided by you. Test Centre Selection You are required to select your preferred Test Centre and sit for the GCBS Entrance Test (GET) at that Centre if you are shortlisted. Your shortlisting status will be available on 18 April 2026 on the same application portal. How do I know that my application has been submitted? You will receive a notification for the successful submission of your application, and you should be able to see your application number online.

What happens after you have applied? You will be shortlisted for GCBS Entrance Test (GET) based on the merit ranking of Ability Rating Points of Class XII marks according to the admission criteria announced: https://www.rub.edu.bt/index.php/admission-criteria-and-tuition-fee-for-the-academic-year-2024/ Programme Category No. of Students to be Shortlisted Programme Category A At least 700 students Programme Category B At least 400 students GCBS do not expect you to have studied the subjects before the Programme. The GET will be administered online (at identified centres) on 25th April 2026, and it will comprise a Personal statement, Personality trait and Aptitude. Personal Statement This is an opportunity for prospective students to express motivation for applying to the programme/s. You must write a personal statement for each programme you wish to apply for within the selected Programme Category, and each statement must be written in response to the specific question(s) provided. Each personal statement must be of 200-250 words. If a Personal Statement is not written/submitted for a specific programme, your application will NOT be considered for that programme. A personal statement must be provided for every programme you wish to apply for. Personality Trait The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) will be used to determine personality types and match a student’s interests with their preferred programme category. Aptitude Test This will test your ability/competence required for the business programmes focused on Language, Quantitative aptitude, Logical reasoning, and awareness

Selection For programmes under each Category, the potential candidates with a valid Citizenship Identity Card will be merit-ranked based on the Ability rating points (60%) and the GET result (40%). Selection will be based on the following weights on 3-4 May 2026. 60% of Ability Rating Points 10% Personal Statement 10% Personality Trait Test 20% Aptitude Test Prospective students will be contacted over the phone by the GCBS admission team and offered a conditional place in the programme. Applicants must confirm their acceptance during the call (3-4 May 2026). All applicants are therefore expected to have already considered their decision and any alternative options before being contacted.

The applicants must fulfil two conditions to confirm your admission in the programme: After acceptance of the offer, applicants must pay the confirmation fee (security deposit) to secure your admission in the programme. : Admission confirmation fee of Nu.. 5000 (five thousand only) must be paid within 2 weeks (19 May 2026), failing to which the seat will be offered to the next standby applicant/s. Admission confirmation fee shall not be refunded if the candidate does not report to the college. For those students who report to the college, the amount will be retained by the college as a Security Deposit and is refundable at the time of graduation (terms & conditions apply) All applicants must submit a valid negative drug test certificate as a mandatory requirement for confirming admission. Applicants who do not provide this certificate will be subject to compulsory testing upon reporting to the college. Any positive result will lead to the denial or revocation of admission

The tuition fee will increase at the rate of 2% annually. Self-Financed Students 2 Institutional Development Fund (IDF) - one time 1,500 Institutional Development Fund of Nu. 1,500 (One thousand five hundred only). This is not refundable. All students 3 Hostel Rent 2,500 1,250 Hostel rent of Nu. 250 (Two Hundred fifty) per month for 5 months (in semester-I) (=Nu. 1250). All students 4 Security Deposit/ Confirmation Fee (one-time) 5,000 0 Security deposit/Confirmation fee of Nu.5000 (Five thousand only). The security deposit shall not be refunded if the candidate does not report to the college; however, is refundable for those who report to the college at the time of graduation (terms & conditions apply). Approved by 57th Academic Board Meeting. It is to be paid by 19 May 2026 (after confirmation of the conditional offer) All students 5 Semso 360 180 Amount of Nu. 180/- (One Hundred eighty only) per semester. All students 6 Mess/Meals 22,500 11,250 Mess bill of Nu. 2250 (Two thousand two hundred fifty only) per month. Applicable only to Girls, (Self-catering for Boys) 7 Hostel Cleaning & Waste Management Fees 1,530 0 Each student shall pay Nu. 170 per month as hostel surrounding cleaning and waste management. However, the months of July, December, and January are waived from the payment.
