    Mr. Lhendup Dorji is a faculty member in the Department of Finance and Economics at Gedu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Honours) from Sherubtse College, the then an academic affiliate of the University of Delhi, India, and a Master’s degree in International Economics and Finance from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Mr. Dorji began his academic career at Sherubtse College in 2002, where he served as Programme Leader and Head of the Department of Economics. During this period, he played a key role in curriculum design, academic management, and the development of the Economics programme. His teaching portfolio covers Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, and Development Economics.
    Beyond academia, Mr. Dorji worked with the Army Welfare Project as Head of Marketing and Sales, leading initiatives in strategic marketing, brand management, and product diversification. He later joined Gedu College of Business Studies and served as Programme Leader of MBA (Finance) programme, where he played an instrumental role in expansion of the MBA programme into Human Resources and Marketing Management, and engaged in consultancy works on Customer Satisfaction Indexing, Market Share Estimation, and Entrepreneurship Frameworks for corporate organizations.
    In 2017, he became a founding member of the leadership team at Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology, serving as Dean of Student Affairs and concurrently as Dean of Research and Industrial Linkages, where he helped build institutional research capacity and foster academia–industry collaboration.
    Mr. Dorji’s professional interests lie in economics and business education.
