    Mrs. Gaki Dem is a Lecturer in the Department of Finance and Economics at Gedu College of Business Studies (GCBS), Royal University of Bhutan. She holds a Master’s in International Development Studies (Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree) from the University of Palacky (Czech Republic), the University of Pavia (Italy), and the University of Clermont (France), along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from Samtse College of Education.
    With over a decade of academic and professional experience, Ms. Gaki currently serves as the Head of the Bachelor of Finance and Economics Programme. Her teaching and research interests lie in the areas of economics, management, and governance, with a focus on institutional development and leadership.
    She has successfully led and contributed to several institutional and Erasmus+ funded projects, supervised undergraduate research, and engaged actively in curriculum design and quality assurance. A recipient of the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, she continues to promote academic excellence, interdisciplinary research, and student-centered learning at GCBS.
