The School of Human Capital Management focuses on developing skills for managing and leading human resources. Programs include training in talent acquisition, employee development, and organizational behavior.
The Bachelor of Human Capital Management Programme intends to produce new generation managers who can create workplaces where talents are attracted, developed motivated and human capital dividend is reaped for organizational success. Business organizations and entities face an array of complex human capital anomalies in both day-to-day affairs and in fulfilling long term organizational aspirations which demand managers with specialized knowledge, skills and attitude in managing human capital. In this context, the programme is designed to develop competencies and skills of learners to manage employees and lead organizations through application of relevant strategies and solutions in terms of human capital management issues. Thus, the programme is expected to produce reflective and ethical human capital professionals with analytical, leadership and relevant transferable skills necessary for leading organizations effectively.
Further, the knowledge and skills acquired from the Programme shall be comparable with graduates of any of recognized universities who studied similar course. In the process of developing modules for the programme, the content of similar courses offered by leading international universities in Europe, America, Australia, Asia and other regions are considered. The module descriptor and contents are designed to align with the universities offering courses accredited by reputed certification bodies such as CIPD (Chattered Institute of Personnel and Development) and HR Professional certification by Association of Talent Development (ATD) and Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Thus, this programme should also be able to serve as a smooth link to pursue professional certification qualification as well.

All applications for the undergraduate business programme at GCBS shall be accepted after fulfilling the entry requirements of the programme. The shortlisting of applicants for the GCBS entrance test (GET) will be on merit ranked based on their academic achievements in class XII ability rating points. Application is open to students of all streams (Commerce, Arts & Sciences) who fulfil the eligibility and Ability Rating criteria. The details are set out in the following table.
